We have recieved more than $175 in grocery/Walmart gift cards which were passed on to this mom. Thank you to 100goodwomen.org and Jennie for collecting these.
Thanks also to members of the Goddess Collective for donations toward getting a telephone. This is being put into place now, and we have a donated telephone for her.
In addition, we are working out the details of acquiring a CAR for this mom... a lovely woman was given this car at a time when she needed it, and has now repaired it and wants to pass it on to a woman in need. We are deeply grateful for this donation, as well. We also love the fact that the car is named "Goddess"! :)

The Red Lyon "Queens for Our Own Amusement" St. Patrick's Day Parade Float Committee is still accepting donations on behalf of The Arc's Special Needs Fund.
Don't forget to watch for the float in this years' annual St. Patrick's Day Parade, Saturday, March 17th, 1 pm Downtown Lawrence.

hi im a mother of 3, going threw some rough times im goin threw a divorce to get away from the abuser an i need help if anyone has lumber or an kind or furniture.I need the lumber to get the home fixed to make it a home i will try an help with labor if i can my 3 boys will help also.Please help me an my boys........thank you
